Eurovision 2010 Israel

I only have one question in this when did Israel become Europe?
Here is their song in this year's Eurovision song contest.

    Well yes this is pretty weird that Israel is in Eurovision, its in the middle east, if they take Israel they should take Irak too lol

    Imo this contest is not a musical contest but political contest, people vote for the country they like not for the music
